LVN to BSN student need an advice!

Published

Hello everyone! Please i need your all serious advice on what the best thing to do ..I've been looking for schools for few months already but it seems like i can only get in at west coast university without waiting for years. , i kinda like the school though but the only thing its scares me is the $140,000.00 tuition .. Is it a good idea to go to that school or do u i have any other option??? Btw .. i graduated as an LVN n the philippines .. So it kinda take time to get in and process everything at the community school .. So i was thinking if mine as well just go to PRIVATE and start ASAP!

Thank You again for ur time reading my post and hopefully can get an anwers from you guys! 😃

I don't believe that. Tons of schools do lottery so as long as you have the minimum you have an equal chance.

If the CC local to you run waiting list moving would be cheaper.

Look at the jobs where you want to work and see 8f they have any employees from West Coast. Don't rely on the information you get from West Coast.

Hi,Muirite!

thanks for ur comment. but i actually didnt get what u mean! Yes,i do asked my co workers who graduated from west coast .. well they said that its worth it u know they got a job few months after they passed the exam.. But of course its alot of money and even if ur RN already u cant pay that debt that quick .. and about CC's i dont really have any idea on how they process everything but all i know is based on those people hu i asked about CC they said its hard and take time to get in..

All of the cc are impacted some people apply at many schools like my sister she did 8 lucky to live close to lots. All of the schools were lottery she got in to 2 and alternate for 2. Lots of people do that so even if you are only an alternate you still have a chance.

I OTOH moved to a smaller market so I was able to get in for my program with out any question. My rent is only 1/3 of what it was in OC and I don't have a long drive.

Ask the hiring manager.. things change when they had a shortage they would hire from the for profits all the time, now not so much.
