LVN-ADN Transition

Published

I am currently taking my last semester of the transition program and am stressed out. It seems that everything that could go wrong has started to outside of school. This is the semester that they expect us to"step it up" and I'm questioning my decision as I know others in my class are too. I love being a nurse and taking care of my patients. I know that is what I want to do. It is everything else that comes with it. We have changed instructors this last semester so not only do I have to hit the ground running, I have to learn how this particular instructor wants paperwork done. You would think that they would all be on the same page but they aren't. I just pray to God that I make it through this last semester and pass my state boards. Just wanted to vent because I am sure there are plenty of people going through this also.

You can do it girl!!! Just stay positive and as calm and clear headed as possible, as this is one of the traits that you MUST have and hone when you become an rn, just as us have to be as an lpn. My RN friends always tell me that they triage thier life just as they do thier patients at work, so everything not important and irritaiting put on the back burner. I am in school too, so lets DO THIS!!!
