Hello all. I am new to Allnurses.com and I was hoping to find others that have just applied to the LSC Nursing program. I took the Hesi and applied to the Kingwood program a couple of weeks ago. My total score was 11.7796.:) I am curious as to what other peoples scores are and if anyone knows how many people are accepted into the Kingwood program each semester. I am pretty anxious and nervous :lol2:for September to get here, because that is when I was told the letters will be sent to see if you get accepted, selected as an alternate or denied. I hope other people will respond to this so that we can support eachother and help eachother out through this stressful and exciting time. As a history of myself, I am an :redbeatheEMT Intermediate :redbeatheand I work as an ER tech in Houston, Tx. I also have some experience on a 911 ambulance and did some part time teaching at LSC for the EMS program. I have always wanted to be a nurse. I made some mistakes in highschool and ended up getting pregnant very young and it delayed my schooling a little bit- but, I am back on track and doing well in school. I cannot wait for nursing school to start. I am hopeful that I can get right in because my score was pretty good- but, I also know some people that made a perfect 12. Please let me know your scores, where you applied.. and also post the great news when you get accepted. I hope to meet some people on here that I will go through nursing school with. I have selected Kingwood College as my first option and Cy Fair as my second (as it is kinda far from where I live). I am hoping to start the program in January of 2012. I still need to take Micro and Nursing Pharm this semester. I am taking Pharm online and Micro at LSC Montgomery with Melissa Jackson.... Im interested to learn about other people that are applying for the same program... We're halfway there guys!!! Best of luck to all!:redpinkhe
