LPT/LVN TO RN- cypress profiency exam

Hello ladies and gents!

i am currently getting ready to take the profiency exam for the bridge program from LPT to RN at cypress college. Seeing if anybody who has taken it. Any tips? What should I focus on?

I also am applying to Cypress LVN to RN yet I still am awaiting for Ms Vo to return so I could get on her list to take the exam. Do you have any idea on what the two written test and skill test consist of ?

Have you applied to any other schools?

She should be back by now. I don't know. She said she will give a study guide after September 11. But I was trying to get a head start... And try to get info from other students who have taken it. This is my first attempt!

It's my first time too. I met with her about a week ago and she told me the same... That she will have the topics to study until September 11... I was also trying to find resources yet I haven't found anyone.

I jut sent her an email, asking for the dates and the study guide!

I got a respond back today. Did you get it? They said to review fundamentals for first test... No study guide and for second test... If you pass the first test will be on maternal and mental health

Yes. Same response. Bummed there is no study guide. Maternity only for Lvns and psych for LOT. Good luck!!!
