Hi I finally got into a class after taking the compass math test 3times and 2interviews my friends have been through at different locations I was looking for study tips and habits that may help as I am a single mother of 2 and I will continue to try n work full time home health aide

congrats i have to take the compass test again any tips and which site will u be at how did the process what was your SCORES

I used prealgbra books from DSCC. My math score 74 reading 89 total 163/200. It like GED test .

Also I think if you kno proportions,fractions (addition,subtraction,division,multiplication) and precent you will do ok

sorry guys havent been on here in a min but i took the test again pass the Math scored an 84 but missed the reading by 4 points i got a 76 i am so mad because now i have to wait until April to retest :(

That was great 4points isn't much you will get there. Covington starts testing in Jan and I think Jackson test always if you could the score transfer everywhere! Good Luck

yep i just called and i can retake the reading part in covington tn 45min away from memphis so i will be waiting until jan to retest im nervous but then im not. how is school going for you. what are your studying techs :)

Good luck on the test.....I want start until jan 2 so I don't kno but im excited and ill keep you posted on my progress throughout the program. I just studied an hour to 3 hours a day till I retested about a 2 week period if you have any specific skill just post them on here and I will explain if I can....the reading part I read questions then passages and do questions and reference to passage if I was unsure. I hope I have helped and good luck again keep me posted on your progress.

thanks so much i go schedule for my test in covington, tn tomorrow, :) HOW IS SCHOOL SO FAR EVEN DOE ITS BEEN 2WEEKS TELL ME HOW MANY TESTS SO FAR, HOW ARE YOUR TEACHERS, HOW ARE YOU GUYS UNIFORMS? IM ALL EARS AND EXCITED LIKE I GOT ACCEPTED HAHAHAHA
