Hello,
I am a newly single mom of two and was previously accepted into a private BSN program that I can no longer afford. However, the local Worksource (workfirst in some areas) will pay for me to go to a one year vocational school if it leaads to certification (not a degree). So to get started in nursing I plan to start at either Apollo, Concorde or Pioneer Pacific this fall.
Could someone in a tech program tell me what it is like. Is it 40 hours a week? I only have experince being a college student so I'm not sure what to expect. When do clinicals start? How does it compare to regular school?
Thanks
