Hi. im getting kinda discouraged right now looking for lpn schools in the columbus, ohio area. I went to cotc nursing meeting and i have done a few things off their checklist but it says that i need human biology or high school biology with a C or better and algebra high school or college equivalent before getting into the lpn program I believe i have not taken these classes. i have my college transcript but it doesnt have it on there. I guess ill have to get my high school transcript and look at it myself. They have not received my high school transcript yet (the high school just sent it out monday) so we both have no clue. It will really suck if I have to take both just to get into the program because it will be even more long of a wait.
I already signed up for stna classes for this month which was required by COTC to get into the lpn program. Now im thinking maybe i wasted money if i cant get into the program this spring. But then again its probably best to take stna classes to know if u really want to get into nursing.
I know honduras and columbus school of practical nursing has lpn but the cost is I think too high for just a diploma. cscc has a waiting list and i think its only parttime.
I really want to take the lpn course this spring. I dont want to wait too long. Is there any lpn schools that offer classes without so many perquisites??? My gpa in high school is a 3.2 and my college gpa is a 2.7 but there seems to be so much stuff to do to get in these programs like having to have a physical (i dont have a doctor) and show immunizations..etc. Ahhh why does this have to be so hard? lol.
Someone help me out . I just want to start school soon.

North Adult doesn't have a waiting list. You just have to pass the TEAS test and you get in. The next program starts in Feb. Check out the website: Adult and Community Education

I agree with the other Post. Apply through adult and community education.
The teas test is not too bad ( i thought it was fairly easy) , Make sure you purchase the study guide for it.
If you are not able to get into the february class go ahead and apply, then you will be able to start in may/june.
A new class starts every 4 months :)
is this accredited too?
