LPN to RN transition

I have been an LPN fpr 3 years and I am currently completing the final semester of the ADN program. I am aware of the differences between the two levels of nursing and I was wondering if anyone has any advise on how to best transition (mentally) from being an LPN to an RN?

I recently finished my LVN to RN program and started my first RN job. I was a LVN for 6 years. My biggest adjustment so far has been realizing that I am ultimately responsible for the patient now. I get to do all the assessments and education. When a patient asks a question I don't have to wait for the RN to come do the initial teaching (in my state LVNs can reinforce teaching but the RN must do initial teaching). As far as hands on work, it's similar. My state allows LVNs to do a lot. The biggest thing is the teaching piece and the more unstable patients that I can take now.
