Hi Jaslien, I was just wondering if you got in? I am currently doing the pre-reqs, but if I don't get a high enough GPA I am thinking about doing an LPN program and then bridging. I hope that this way even if I get a lower GPA, I would still be able to get in because of my LPN diploma. Do you recommend going this route, or just redoing a course to boost GPA and apply through the regular pathway? If you could do it all over again, would you become an LPN first and bridge, or try to directly enter the RN program?
Thank you for any advice you can give me!
Hi!
Even if you do your LPN and then apply to the bridge in program at Langara it is quite competitive as they only accept 6 students (so top 6 GPA). I do know the RN program is competitive to get into as well, but keep in mind the price for the LPN program is around $30 000(not 100% sure as I did mine 5 years ago), and I am not sure how much it will be if you do the 4 year degree.. I would look into that as well. I have had to re-do a few courses to bump up my GPA to have a stronger application when I apply to the bridge in so regardless they are both very competitive! Hope that helps :)

Yaay Congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA? I'm planning to apply for January 2022 and I'm currently doing my pre reqs right now, I'm so nervous because I heard they only accept the top 8 GPAs
