lpn-rn advanced placement maricopa community colleges

Im about to begin lpn program at estrella mountain community college. So far I have completed math 122 english 101 and psych 101. I start chem 130 in a couple days and plan to take AP1 this fall. What other pre reqs do i need to have complete before I can apply for the advanced placement rn program? Im getting mixed info as far as needing to have micro and ap2 complete before applying. I'm not sure if i can put a link up but you can find all the info on advanced placement by googling MCCCD nursing program. That should take you to Maricopa colleges nursing program site. On the left side you'll find a link that says advanced placement--all the info is there. You might also try a search or posting in the forum here for AZ nursing programs--there's a ton of info there too. At any rate I'm an AP LPN now in Maricopa, and I had to have AP II done. For block 3, Micro for sure. Hope that helps. :-))

Where did you take your AP courses? Would you recommend any college in particular? I plan to take AP 1 fall 2013.

I took AP 1 in another state and got credit for it. They had me re-take AP 2 because it was only 3 credits and Maricopa colleges require 4 credits. I took it online at Phoenix College. It was tough and the only reason I got a B was because I'd taken it before. I learned a lot though. I don't have any recommendations and I'd say the online A&P will require you to be really disciplined.
