Lpn moving to Northampton/Springfiled area

I am looking to move out of Boston..I cant stand, amongst everything, the high costs of rent anymore!

I currently work on a LTC floor, with a mix of subacute patients. I, like many of you, do it all while at work. I'm in the midst of my job search and am wondering if anyone can offer up any info as to what expected salaries (per hour) in western ma?

Hi, I'm an LPN in the Springfield area, hope I can help you. The starting wage in LTC around here is around $18.00/hr + shift diff. It really depends on your years of experience. We have some great place to work and some really bad ones as do most areas. As our cost of living is lower than the Boston area the pay difference works itself out.
