I'm about to lose my job at a leading home care agency in Cleveland. I specialize in hospice, but over and above that want to stay in homecare as I hace for 4+ years. Does anyone know of reputable agencies in the Cleveland area hiring LPN's for home health? Anyone worked with Maxim? Are they reliable? They're all over Monster here. Any advice is most appreciated.

Not to be a downer, but Maxim is awful...look them up on the indeed.com forums. I worked for Fairview Hospital's homecare division, wonderful people. Very supportive and flexible. Almost family is a good one, so is Cambridge Home Health Care. Good luck, whoever you choose should be happy to have someone like you :)
Wow...I need all the hope I can get right now. Thanks for your quick and encouraging reply.

I have a disabled daughter and both her nurses are from Cambridge... one of which is my mother. They both like it there. It always seems like they are hiring, too. As a customer, I think they are great!
Good luck!
While we're on the subject, can anyone tell me what the starting rate is for LPNs in homecare round Cleveland?
I know that the starting rate for an LPN at Cambridge is $16 hour.
That's about the going rate for hospitals.....I wonder if my aunt who just started on a med-surg flooor and is miserable knows that. Thanks!
