Lpn course at lindsey hopkins

i start the program on the 26kth of this month and i was just wondering, do i have to pay out of my pocket for books even though i have financial aid? because i work a low paying part time job and i can not afford it out of pocket. also for my admissions fees and the insurance for the course is that out of pocket as well? please help im really worried and strapped for cash.

Hey am also starting the 26th. I am not receiving financial aid but you should really ask cuz the books are really expensive in MDC and I am trying to get them online but I am afraid I dont get them shipped on time for the first day of class. so i am still not sure what am going to do....

hopefully u get them on time she said they had to be the 6th edition how much were the books, and did u start on your assignments?

I decided to get the books in miami dade, the total for all 3 books is about 200 dollars. I would have gotten all 3 for 100 online but the shipping was untill next wednesday. oh well:rolleyes:....anyways I am going to start on my assignments today. Oh and am excited cuz i got my uniforms today. But i still have to register in lindsey hopkins, I wasnt able to register friday cuz i am missing the varicella titer. Hopefully I can do this tomorrow.:D

how is the program at lindsey hopkins? what are the hours? how are the teachers? is it accredited ? and how much is it? i always try to find out info on it but every time i call I'm on hold for ever and they send me to a voicemail and they never return my call :/

the program cost around 5000 including books and uniforms and others fees. its also accredited. You definitely have to go to the school because they are always very full and i dont think they are very good with calls.

i will be writing my paper today after i try n see if i can get my shots today.. um does that 5000 include the registration fee, the insurance and your school ID?

yeah, thats about how much i calculated even with books and uniforms. someone in orientation said it was 6000, i dont know where they got that number unless tuition went up.

oh wow, well im stressing a little cause well my paycheck came today and it wasnt even enough to buy one book -_- i got 70.00 bucks..i really need a new job. besides that downfall ill get the books before class somehow.... but as for the essay and other assignments ill get started on them today its only 6 days till school start im excited and worried all at the sametime

wow am excited and worried too. have you registered for class officially? i just got my final shot today so am going tomorrow. All the money I have spent is getting me worried but i just keep telling myself its only a year and then i will have a good job.

you absolutely right my appointment is made for tomorrow so it will be along day for me cause im taking in the paper work the same day. im also getting my books the same day and i already bought the uniforms i just gotta pick top the tops cause they were out of the patches so i left it there so they can put it on when they get their order the told me thursday so i will be there.
