LPN to... BSN? ADN?

I'm sure there's about a hundred posts on this topic... I tried poking around a bit but couldn't find anyone who was slow enough to start out with their LPN.

I decided to get my LPN, and bridge to get my RN. Obviously not the best choice, but at the time, I had an advisor who was quite enthusiastic in his recommendations. I have my LPN license now, and I'm trying to do the right research this time, and figure out what I need to do next.

LPN to Anything progams are extremely limited in my area- my closest bet for the ADN program would be an hour away, and for the BSN program, I would consider moving. I've never taken an online class, so I'm not sure if online is the right choice for me. I've been in contact with several colleges, but they aren't too much help, as they all strongly recommend their own programs.

Ultimately, my goal is to gain employment in an ABA certified intensive care burn unit. I'm well aware that this choice rather limits me in where I can go, and the job opportunities for me, but I've decided it's an acceptable compromise for me. I've chatted with some nurses in the burn unit closest to me, some have their ADN, some have their BSN, and I believe there's a few with Masters degrees in there as well.

I'd *like* to get my Masters degree, but I'm not sure if it's more efficient to get the BSN vs ADN degree first. Efficiency was my whole problem with this LPN degree, I can honestly say that I wasted two perfectly good years I could have been using to get my RN.

If you can make sense of this post, and you have anything of an opinion on what I need to do next, I'd love to hear it. I'm so confused, and I need to make up my mind quickly so I don't take any unneeded prerequisite classes! :crying2:
