lpn with a bhsa hitting a glass ceiling

Published

I been a lpn for 12 years and went to school for a dual degree in healthcare administration and long term care administration. Earned a certificate in occupational health and safety specialist. I want to advance in my career but it seems I hit a glass ceiling unless I get my RN degree a minimum of an associates to be taken serious. I love risk management and want to pursue a career in it but with a lpn I can't find work without taking even more certs such as six sigma blue ocean or project management. Can anyone recommend a pathway for a nurse in WV. Thank you in advance

I think you have already found the solution. Getting a BSN will put you in a much better position to get into risk management.
