I checked in my application and there is a notification that I was accepted! It's conditional acceptance because I still have a few pre-reqs in-progress and will need to get a B.
I also have been looking at financial aid and it seems I missed the deadline for the FAFSA for spring/summer...anyone else in this boat or have any advice on what they are doing for financing?
Congrats everyone on getting in! I received a conditional acceptance too, very excited. I submitted my FAFSA in time, I believe, but no word on what I've been awarded yet. It's hard to get aid for a second bachelors so I won't be surprised if I'll need to seek aid elsewhere. A friend of mine said she got the best interest rate on a second bachelors through Wells Fargo. Good luck! Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Hi Planemo, longtime lurker and first time poster here - I am considering Loyola's ABSN along with a few other programs and would appreciate your candid thoughts about the program if and when you have the time.
1. In many posts from years past, it sounds like the program was very disorganized. Did you find that to be true while you were in the program?
2. Did you feel well-prepared for the NCLEX and for getting your first job after the program?
3. Loyola said they do not post job placement rates for their graduates, which makes me a little nervous - anecdotally, do you think most of your cohort-mates found jobs within a few months of graduation?
4. Anything else you wish you had known going into the program?
Many thanks in advance.
Planemo

Hey everyone, I am trying to find out if anyone else on here applied to Loyola's program? I applied in July, and I have everything sent in, so now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed. :)
