Hey everyone!
Just curious if anyone on here will be starting the LPN2RN program at Lower Columbia College in WA? I am doing the eLearning version, but comment below if you are in any of the programs starting Fall 2018!
Also, if you have completed it recently I would love to hear from you! Thanks!

My sister graduated from that program in August. She and the 5 women she made friends with all had positive experiences and passed their boards on the first try

Is that the Kaplan Entrance test? It wasn't bad at all. It was NCLEX style questions but not as hard as what you would expect. If I am thinking of the right one. Good luck!

I have been looking into LPN-RN programs. Can I ask a few questions about this program?
Does Lower Columbia College require you to complete clinicals in facilities near the school? Or are they arranged for the elearning students? And how long is the bridge?

It is 4 quarters. They have a few clinical locations but the majority of them are in Longview. A few students had a location in Everett, a few in Centralia, a few in Vancouver but most were in Longview. I personally had to commute from Tacoma everyday. Another 2 students from Yakima were also in my group. One just camped during the week, the other stayed with a relative.
@SR8811 that’s great to hear! Were clinicals just during the last quarter? And only 1 week?
@Wonderwallflower Yes its all the last quarter. You do 2 weeks of labs on campus, then around 1 month of clinicals with some weeks being Mon-Wed and others Mon-Thurs. Preceptorship is 130 hours and depends on your preceptor's schedule. 2-4 weeks.
