So I took my first attempt at the TEAs score today. I got in the 58th percentile, and TNCC's minimum percentile is 45%.
I have a 3.8 GPA and have completed every prerequisite and more with all As and only two Bs. Thomas Nelson also gives extra points for completing prereqs and finishing certain science courses with an A. I pretty much have gotten all of those extra points. So I'm solid from that stand point, but I am a HORRIBLE test taker.
Do I stand a chance at getting accepted? I think it's so unfair that I've heard they look over one test to determine acceptance. I keep seeing people who are in the 91 percentile freaking out...I will be heartbroken if I don't get in, as I have busted my chops off for the past two years to get this far.

Hi there! First of all, chin up, anxieties are killing all of us these days. I am taking the TEAS tomorrow at TNCC and I am a nervous wreck. I have 4.0 GPA, but I have only BIO 101, BIO 141, ENG 111 and HLT 230. I'm taking BIO 142 right now, but I don't get any points until I complete is, so .
Would you mind sharing what your actual score was? I have been trying to figure out what score gets you in the 45th percentile and I haven't been able to find that information out.
Best of luck to you! I hope we both start the program in August!
I scored a 68% overall and it landed me in the 58th percentile. After I finished my test I went to the nursing office and asked if my percentile was enough to keep me in the running. She said yes, and since I have a high GPA and al the points that there's a decent chance. It's just the waiting game now I guess! I'm sure you will do fine on the test, I'm wishing you luck!!
Update for anyone wondering, I got in! :)
