have worked many years as a charge RN in a large men's prison in Texas, and i have worked DOD/GS for the Dept of Army for past 2-3 years. highly recommend DOD/GS jobs but love correctional health too. lots of money in DOD...made 70K/year. p.s. if you are dependent of active duty member you get spousal preference!

How about if you're retired military yourself? I know at the Post Office you get preference. TIA
