Lost job now what

I was informed today that due to budget concerns etc that my position will be eliminated and I will no longer be employed after . To make matters worse I am still under contract with Nhsc for 2 more years. NHSC is working with me to find a new site. Any advice from anyone who's been there done that. Too top it all off my husband leaves in 2 days for Afghanistan . I'm trying to stay optimistic as I've already had one call to submit my resume even though they have no openings at present.

So sorry for the position you are in. Have you thought about moving or traveling? I had to do that for a yesr. Can't say it was the most pleasent of experiences but it was a job.

yes I did am in the process of negotiating salary
