Los Medanos

Has anyone applied to Los Medanos RN program? I haven't been able to get a clear answer on when we should hear back...the couple times I've called they told me they didnt know and that everything is with the admissions department. If you have applied there before, how long did it take to get an answer?

Last year they posted the results on June 1st. The spring semester doesn't end until the week before, on May 25th. Depending on how many people fail out from my class (first year RN), they will then know how many LVN's and transfers they can add to the second year. Since they do the lottery at the same time, they can't do it until after May 25/26. Good luck to you, I know how hard it is to wait!! Also, just an FYI, due to budget cuts, they are only taking 30 students instead of 44.

Lottery results will be posted on June 6th on the nursing department doors. Letters will go out shortly thereafter.

If you were eligible for the lottery, you should have received a letter last week to advise. There are some other posts on allnurses.com that have more info.
