Does anyone remember when they will be notifying us about the selection? I remember them mentioning May but I'm not 100% sure:/
From other forums it looks like they began to be notified the last week of April.

I asked some LACC nursing students who were doing clinical rotations on the unit I work on, and they said they received admissions sometime in April, so hopefully by the end of next month.

Hi, do you happen to know how hard it is to get accepted? I applied to several schools and I would really like to start this fall but I've heard it's super competitive because of the lottery.

Hi, it's my first round applying to nursing schools, I'm also very nervous :')
The students did say it was through lottery; however they did mention a lot of people tend to drop their spot to go to another school. They did share that they had a few classmates who were actually called one day before the second orientation in August that they were able to take a spot. That is so last-minute, but they said to just stay on top of your emails especially if you are put on the alternate list.

Hey guys do you think I'm fine if I didn't send my official transcripts to the admissions office? The nursing application distinctly says "if admitted to the nursing program you will need to send your official transcripts to the admissions office" so that's why I only attached my official transcripts to the application only. I'm so nervous that I messed up and will be deemed ineligible )): please someone let me know

If it states on the application then I would assume there is no need to worry.
For me, I applied to other ADN programs within the LACCD and they said if you send your transcript to one of the sister campuses then ALL campuses have access to your official transcript but I made sure to call LACC to confirm my transcript on file.
If you still have worry then call during their office hours, there is no harm in calling for confirmation!
Wishing everyone the best of luck:)

Thank you so much!! I really hope so. I'll definitely have to go check. I've only applied to one other LACCD campus which is lavc but their application opened in April so I'm not sure LACC would have received it since I applied to lavc just recently but hopefully I'll be fine ): best of luck to you!!
