Looking at starting a staffing agency

Hey guys. Im new here. I'm looking into starting a staffing agency and employing myself. Cutting out the middle man per se. I have a friend of a friend who has had amazing success with this (unfortunately she is a friend of my ex girl friend hah so that contact is down the drain). To those of you who have done this...where do I get started?

PS (I know there are a lot of people that will say "NO" "ITS IMPOSSIBLE" just an FYI those posts will promptly be ignored lol)
