Where do you live? You sometimes just have to look around. If you know you want to do nursing, I would start by comparing school prerequisites. You’ll definitely need Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology, General Psychology. Some schools require developmental psychology. The prerequisites can differ depending on the state and the school, but those classes are usually a part of the curriculum.

I actually began my prerequisites at my local community college and found out that they did not have a part-time evening/weekend option. But I found another school that is about the same distance from me that did have that option, and I only needed to complete an additional course or two for acceptance into their program. But again, it all depends on where you live. There are thousands of programs throughout the nation. Not all of them offer the part-time. And sometimes the ones that do are expensive. But you might be one of the blessed ones to live close to a good program with a low tuition cost and that offers part time options. Never know until you do the digging.

Just post where you live and maybe someone can help you find a program that would best suit you.

Good luck!
