Looking for RN job in Maui

I am from Arizona and have been wanting to relocate to Maui for quite some time now. I graduated in December and just passed the NCLEX. I have applied to Maui Memorial Medical Center as a new grad. I have been told (by some friends who live on the island) that they are in great need of nurses there. However, reading posts on this sight make me think otherwise. Any knowledge would be GREATLY appreciated!

I'm over here on Maui now for vacation. Just stopped by MMMC to have a look around. Sounds like for new grads they give strong preference to those who go to school locally. Seems like a nice hospital and recently did some pretty major renovations... I just started my first job in WA... one can only survive so many Pacific NW winters. After a couple years I'll likely try to work here. good luck to you!
