Looking for Nurse Shadowing Opportunities in Northern Virginia

I am looking for an opportunity to shadow a nurse in the Northern Virginia Area.

I know that INOVA has an obervership program but they are currently full and have not been accepting any new applicants for a while now.

I was informed by my advisor that knowing a nurse personally could help me get in the hospital for a shadowing opportunity. I was also told that reaching out to a nurse manager could help. However, I do not know any nurses at the moment.

I have reached out to other hospitals and clinics but they have all declined so far due to privacy concerns which I understand.

I am really desperate and would appreciate any feedback/help that could possibly lead me in the right direction.
