Looking for a new job in cleveland.

Hello everyone. Moving to the Cleveland area. Thinking about agency. Anyone know the going rate for an RN agency nurse in Cleveland.

Is anyone from Cleveland? How about rates in the surrounding areas. Agency that is. I tried the site for wages, but is not specific to agency.

hey there...cleveland is great area---the starting rate for RN's is about22-26.00/hr. depends on experience, city OR burbs, type...if you have any questions ask away sue in the burbs

Wow. Is that an agency RN. I guess I thought it would be higher than Columbus. Thanks Sue for the info. I was thinking of Cleveland Clinic.

I feel i am pretty accurate for the wages---i have alot of nurse friends and it truly depends on the type of nursing...if you do agency the rates are much higher. also for weekend programs, prn, etc....what kind of nurse are you???specialty????sue

ER. Oh, I see yes that is probably the going rate for a non-agency nurse. Thanks.

Does anyone know of a LTC facility in Cleveland that is using agency. Everyone seems to offer hospital positions. I want to work in ER PT, and agency LTC PT. Any Suggestions.

I was working for Enterprise, which is the agency owned by UHHS and goes to the main univ hosp cleve and the satellites, base was $37.00/hr. The agency work is drying up right now. UHC and CCF are hiring tons of new grads.

I worked agency in the Cleveland area a few years back and made about 37-44/hr. I still have friends who work for the same agency and see them on occasion and they are still making that rate. I agree with the other post that agency is drying up and has been for a few years now. You have to be extremely flexible with hospitals, shifts and areas willing to work. GOOD LUCK !!

I am a forced into retirement nurse using an agencies services. I am close to the cleveland area. I can offer some insight into agencies around here. The agency I am using pays 22-24/hr. Use caution. Would like to talk with you. E-mail me if you are interested.

Maybe agency is not the way to go right now. I just wanted the flexible schedule without all the strings. Any advice would be wonderful.

I LOVED :loveya: the agency that I worked for. PM me for the inside scoop!
