Looking for an LPN school near Westminster

Published

Hi everyone. I just recently moved here in Colorado and wanting to finish my lpn program. Yes, I was in the program before in Chicago. And now Im looking for a school that offers this program and accepts transfer credits. I have inquired at Emily Griffith but was told that I cant trasfer all my credits. Meaning, I have to start all over again. So please, anyone can reply and share their knowledge to me. Thanks.

I went to Emily. Sorry they won't transfer your credits, but it is a really good program if you can deal with the mean-ness of some of the instructors! Some of the part-time instructors told me that when they went on to get their RNs it was super easy because Emily gave them such a solid foundation. At the time (3 years ago) I chose it because it was relatively easy to get into; I think they have increased some of their pre-req's. It's also very affordable.

You might check out CCD (community college of Denver). They are also around downtown I think. Also, I believe Front Range has a campus right in Westminster. I think the waitlist may be long, though.

Good luck!

Hi. Thanks for the quick reply. I will look into that site and hopefully, I get lucky!!!
