I just recieved acceptance letter to LMU for Fall 09. I am looking for those that will be attending. I have lots of questions and would love some insight into what I am getting into.

Hi I will be attending LMU Blount site this fall 2009. I would like to keep intouch. Maybe we can keep eachother posted on how things are going. Have you completed anything on the list of things to do before orientation? I just got my CPR Cert. One step at a time. Do you know anything about the schedule? I have a few pre recs to do and was wondering when the best time to take them would be. I wonder if we will have next summer off or if we will be attending through the summer as well. I look forward to hearing from you!

I am attending Blount this fall also, but I have not recieved a packet of things to do I am still waiting on that. We will be off for nursing school in the summer so you can take some pre reqs then. I you from knox or maryville?
I am from Maryville. You should have recieved a check off list of things needed at orientation. You will need to have Adult Child infant CPR for the health care provider. You need drug urine test and TB test. You need proof of MMR. If you don't have the check off list you should call because it says you need to have all things completed by orientation day in Aug. Its good to know we will have the summer off. Where are you from?
yeah, I got that packet but they said they would be sending another one out to us that has things we need for class in it but I have not recieved it. I am from Athens tn. I wish my drive was going to be as short as yours but it will be worth every mile of it.
Oh, I have not recieved that packet yet either. Keep me posted on it. My address has changed since I registered and some things have been getting delayed in the mail. How long will your drive be? I am new to Tennessee, moved here form NH a year and a half ago.
I will take me about an hour to get there. I am wanting to move up north when I am through school how did you like it there? I will let you know when I recieve the packet. I wish it would hurry up. There is math in it that we will be tested over in the first weekthey told me.
I didn't know about the math. I am from NH, the seacoast area near portsmouth. It is a lot like it is here except much colder. Thats why we moved, I was so tired of the long cold winters. I love the weather here. If you don't mind freezing temps for 6 months(or more) out of the year then you will like it. Where up north? Do you have family there?
No I don't have family there, I just love the cold and snow. You don't get alot of that here. I hear the cost of living is quite higher there, that is a little bit of a down side. Yeah from what I hear you are tested over dosage calculation. They have use henkles med math for the last few years but they told me, when I called, that they no longer use the book that they would send out what we needed.
If you like cold and snow, you will like it up north. The cost of living is higher but so is the pay so don't let that stand in your way. Thanks for letting me know about the math. I will be watching the mail for it.
I just downloaded the Dosage Calculation Packet from the LMU Website. I got a letter from LMU telling me to do this. There is also a sample quiz that needs to be completed. I will start working on it tonight.
