I'm currently an Intelligence Analyst in the Air Force, I will be getting out in July and I plan on going to school to become a RN. I'm really interested in working with disabled children. Especially children with autism and down syndrome. I hadn't thought about being a nurse until four months ago when I gave birth to my son. The nurses there were so great! They made the labor and delivery a lot easier. They really inspired me.I'm not sure what being a nurse is going to be like. I know it's going to be a lot of hard work (plus I'm a single mother and I plan on going to school full time and working part time) but I'm really looking forward to it. I'd really appreciate any advice anyone has.
