Hi everyone - I haven't posted that much and I haven't been to the boards in awhile (busy in school). Today we had a career fair and the national guard was there. I've had my heart on the Army Nurse Corps Reserves for a year now. Ofcourse the National Guard recruiters didn't tell me much except everyone hates the Army reserves. I pretty much expected that. But can anyone please go over the difference in duties between the two and life in the two. I'm pretty sure I'm still leaning toward Army, but I'd still like to get some input. I've pretty much seen only the differences of army and navy on here!
Also, when do you start doing the paperwork & packets for the army nurse corps? Since I switched schools my ADN will be pushed back to April 2008. Thanks for your help in advance :)

I have never heard that. What I've heard is that most people love it.

p.s. another forum member started a thread requesting comparisons from the Army and National Guard nursing

i think that was just the NG recruiter saying what any other recruiter would say about a different branch of service.
Hello,
This has not been my experience, I have been fortunate to have only witnessed recruiters in action who have integrity.
