how long it take for hospital to give an offer after interview.

Hi nurses,

I am a new grad that just pass my NCLEX on July 8. I start apply for job after I got my license number. I finally got a call from HR and have a first interview on last Wednesday and peer interview on Thursday. They said that they will contact me early of this week. How long is normal for waiting time, I am pulling my hair out right now. I really interested in this position. Just want to see what other people experience.

I was already working at my hospital when I became an Rn. I interviewed may 1 and July 2 got the job July 3 started August 10th hospitals move slowly just consider it good news you haven't heard yet, they have to pick the best and that takes time

Thank you for replying,i am praying i will get the job cause i really love in that department (or) i have a previous experience to that department but what am concern is that i feel that i didnt do my best in answering behavioral question cause i was really nervousí ½í¸¦.hoping for the best
