Loewenberg College of Nursing(Memphis) Spring '17

Published

Hello,

I am a sophomore in college . I will be transferring to the University of Memphis and applying for the Spring 2017 nursing program. I will have most of my pre-requisites and general education classes finished by the time I apply except for English 2202( Literary Heritage) and statistics. Will that be an issue? I was also in the Practical nursing program, but I withdrew after the first semester because I wanted to get my RN, BSN faster. I will have about a 3.6-3.7 overall GPA by the time I apply to the Loewenberg College of Nursing. I will also be re-taking Anatomy and Physiology II to get a better grade, and bring my science GPA to a 3.3. Will I still have a chance even if I withdrew from 3 classes and the Practical nursing program? The TEAS test will not be required for spring 2017. Do y'all think I have any chance in getting in the program? Any help and input from past, current students, and hopefuls will be greatly appreciated.
