Hi guys! I transferred into liu for the spring 2016 semester and didn't get accepted into nursing because I didn't have enough pre reqs completed. I was accepted as a health science major instead and hope to be finished with all pre reqs in the fall semester. I'm planning on requesting a change of major as soon as the spring semester is finished and grades are in. Hopefully I'll be able to start in the nursing program spring 2017!
Is is anyone here a current student at liu or planning on applying to the nursing program in the next year?

@Julia731. I am a recent grad from the Health Science program, make sure they only give you the Pre-X classes for Nursing because I know they are going to give you all type of classes that you dont need. I would also advice you consider another school like NYU which is a few thousands more than LIU but its a better school. I spend 4 years at LIU and it was a nightmare. I am not the smartest student but I was really good and LIU mess a lot of students up. trust me on that speaking from experience just be careful.
