Limitations of an International Student

Published

Hi

Currently I am an undergraduate student, completing my prerequisites in order to apply for the BSN program. My ultimate aim is to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. The other day, I was researching about the pathway to become a FNP, and I found that I have to do BSN first, clear the NCLEX exam for RN, then apply for MSN course.

Since I am an international student, the cost of attendance for me is pretty higher for applying in any of these programs. So my question is, that after earning my RN license, will I be able to work as a RN, and do my MSN simultaneous based my visa? If I can, what kind of visa do I need to do it?
