Life Details for moving to NC

Hi everyone! as i've mentioned in previous posts, i'm really really hoping to move to nc next year when i graduate (i'm in atlantic canada now). so i've started trying to research things like moving with a car into the states, auto insurance things like this. i was wondering if there were any other people that had moved to NC (preferably from outside america) and any advice/suggestions/wisdom/witty sayings, etc they cared to pass on! lol thanks in advance!

Where in NC are you looking? Mountains, plains, ocean front property?

pretty much middle of mountains and ocean! lol don't want too much snow/winter, but don't want hurricanes and whatnot either! lol. but i'm looking more for information about getting households set up more than where to live (unless of course those details are varied depending on where you want to live!) lol
