Lewis University or Aurora University?

Hello! This is my first time posting on allnurses though I've been lurking this site for the longest time!

Anyway for my first topic, I want to ask about the BSN programs at Lewis University & Aurora University in Illinois. I currently attend a local community college and I am now in my second year of college completing my pre-requisite courses. I am interested in applying to these schools because they are both close to home, however Lewis would be around 45-60 min drive and Aurora seems to be only about half an hour. I currently work as a rehab aide on weekends at a nursing home, though I am in the process of looking/applying at a job at a local hospital as a tech. I plan on continuing to work as a CNA/PCT (hopefully) until I graduate and I plan on living at home as well which is why I want to attend either one of these universities. Not only that, but they both seem to have pretty high NCLEX pass rates (90%+ for both I believe) - which is great. The only problem is that both of these schools have slightly different requirements and I am about to sign up for classes for the following Spring semester. I will be able to finish all of the pre-reqs for either of these schools by the Spring semester, but I'm not sure where I want to go. Lewis requires Organic Chemistry but doesn't require Biology and vice versa for Aurora. I will be taking Microbiology and a Statistics in the Spring, both of which are needed at these institutions. Lewis also requires the Kaplan Entrance Test and Aurora requires the TEAS V. Both of these are private, Aurora seems to be cheaper compared to Lewis, a private Catholic school.

So that leads me to ask, for those that are currently attending or have attended either of these schools, how do you like them? What was your GPA at the time of applying and how did you score on your entrance exam? How far are clinical sites? For those that attend Aurora- how does the patho course work? Anything else I need to know?

I am planning on transferring to Aurora University or Lewis University, and wanted to know what school you decided to apply and if you are in the nursing program how you like it so far.
