Hi everyone,

I have recently jointed this forum and have found it extremely helpful so far. So many valuable thigs I can use at work!

I would like to start a thread sharing appropriate info about our units/hospitals. Pros/cons, how do you like the environment, managers, etc. I am currently looking for a new job in an ICU . Can anyone comment on there ICU unit/ hospital. My goal is to become a CRNA, so I would like to work with nice knowledgeable nurse to learn as much as I can

well, as a new RN I started at CHOP trauma/surg unit. It is very busy, nice manager who really tries to understand your situation, hard working nurses. The unit has a pretty high turn over rate, so we had to cover and stay overtime... a lot of overtime if your are very nce and willing to stay every time leadership asks. I hated the commute and parking on the remote lot. The majority of the nurses are nice, will help you out if you need help. South tower is very big, so a lot of walking. My feet would hurt so bad at the end of the day. If anyone has any specific questions, lets post!
