what's the least competitive LPN school in WA state?

Published

I'm planning on taking pre-req classes to get into LPN school.

it seems like a lot of lpn schools (bates, clover park) have a wait list,

Green river community college doesn't maintain a wait list, but they only admit once a year.

which school is the least competitive LPN school in WA state?

I live near Tacoma, if Olympic college(in olimpia) is less competitive, I don't mind 1 hour commute,

I'm not even thinking about trying RN, since it's going to be more wait/competition. someone recommended absn, but i heard it's even more competitive.

I already have a bachelor's degree (graduated 20 years ago), so I just want to get 4 quarter lpn certificate, not 6 quarter associate degree in lpn.

Thank you for reading my post!

Hi there! I am redoing a few prerequisites to apply to the LPN program in the metro area. I attended the BATES “meeting” earlier last year and there is no waitlist. If you have the prerequisite min GPA and the CNA certification, entrance exam and maybe one other thing (I can’t remember at the moment) you go through the 3-5 steps on their website and you basically get in.

Olympia College made some program changes per their website. From other threads here Pierce does not have a waitlist just a pretty lengthy application process ie; resume, interview, essay plus the normal application items.

I am not sure about requirements for Clover or Tacoma College. Edmonds College is also a lesser application process Per their website but the LPN program there is 21 months (part time 4-8 pm).

I hope that this helps.
