Hey everyone I am entering laguardia this Spring '12 semester for pre reqs and I have all the required courses (eng101, ssy101, scb203, and ssc 210 plus mat 120 and scn195). However, I heard that you had to take scb 204 (Anatomy and Physiology II) to begin the clinical part of the program. Does that mean that I would have to wait another semester to enter the program since I have already filled up both Session I and Session II? TIA
Also, I am waiting for my FAFSA verification which is not done until four weeks from now so does anyone have any idea in what kind of time frame I could be recieving aid since I barely have enough money for books and transportation. (I qualify for the Pell grant).

You have to take scb204 before entering program. Just keep checking online because someone can still drop and a space will open but you have to check several times through out the day. You can also apply for candidacy this spring and take 204 in the 6week session but if u do that u can't drop the 204 because even if your gpa is high enough to get in the nursing program and they see that u didn't complete it because u dropped it they will disqualify u from this candidacy. So try your best and do well so u won't have to consider dropping. The reason for this is bc students were getting accepted in the program and taking 204 with nursing classes and they were failing out because 204 and nursing courses are demanding.
