I applied to the RN candidacy this fall. This semester I did A&P1 in the 1st session and I'll do A&P2 in the second session. My grades are: chemistry (A), english101 (A), psychology (-A), A&P1 (-A), and statistics (A) so that's like a key course GPA of 3.85 and cumulative GPA of 3.89 or smth. In the 12 point ranking system they use I think I have 11.57.
I really hope I get in. Good luck to you too

Hi! I thought I would give an update on my journey. Don't worry yet. I had a 3.2 because of the reasons in my original post. I was originally waitlisted but a couple weeks later they called me off the waitlist. I just attended my pinning ceremony/graduation last week and am awaiting my NCLEX ATT number to take the boards. You got this! Think positive and if they wait list you and give you an opportunity to speak with representatives of the program take it.

Hi All!
I was wondering if anyone applied for candidacy to the LPN or RN programs for this fall? Does anyone know anyone who got accepted in a previous year?
I applied to the LPN candidacy for this fall. My key courses GPA went from a 3.75 to a 3.2 when an old grade I had from another college transferred over. I'm a little nervous. My TEAS score was 79.
Please share any info you have on the candidacy and or program and if you are comfortable with it your GPA/TEAS. Just trying to gauge my chances. I'm so anxious to wait until mid July.
Thanks and good luck!
