Lack of Emergency protocol in med spa

Hi guys, I have a question for you who know anything about medical spas. I am a recent grad in my 50s, am also an esthetician and have been in this medical spa for the last 3 months. This spa got in trouble and needed to get a new medical director because of the lack of emergency protocol at their establishment. They got a new director but still did not institute any emergency protocol.

Now they want me to teach Friday and if anything happens, there is no emergency protocols. I told them I do not want to teach without it. I get the feeling that they will not give me one.

I am an independant contractor until Nov 31st. Is this ok for me to walk out because of this issue? I need to anticipate and be ready.

I would appreciate some wisdom from you guys.
