I am a new RN, graduated in June. I finally got the call I was waiting for, an interview with a L&D unit at a hospital! And the call came on my birthday. How cool was that?!
I interview 7 days from now. What kind of questions might be asked in this interview? I would like to be as prepared as possible and present myself as best as I can.
Thank you for any input, comments, suggestions.:loveya:

There was a topic like that already.
Here is a list: https://allnurses.com/ob-gyn-nursing/interview-questions-l-332884.html
Also, I Googled it, and here is what I found (in case you didn't find it yourself yet). :)

I have worked as a unit secretary on L&D for four years and after I pass the boards (scheduled on the 7th) I have a fellowship and I just love it! Some advice about what they are looking for. It is essential that you are very diplomatic when dealing with the doctors. There are a lot of practices and a lot of different doctors that you deal with and they bring in the money. Without the doctors delivering there you have not patients. Labor and Delivery is a very tight unit, it is essential that you come across as a team player. That you are willing to go the extra mile and that you can get along with everyone. They realize that they are going to have to teach you everything (it is a long training process, which is good) so they are looking for the right personality that fits in. They like someone who is willing to take constructive comments and willing to be a team player.
