KU Nursing School Acceptance

Published

Hello, I am trying to apply to the University of Kansas School Nursing for Fall 2018. I know it is very competitive, but I am curious on my chances of getting accepted. I have my Associates of Science and graduated with highest honors. I have gotten A's on all of most prerequisites. The only two I have left to take is A&P I/II and a child/human development in the spring. I am a PTK scholar. I also have experience with healthcare because I am currently a CNA. My only issue is volunteer and leadership opportunities. I have ZERO volunteer and leadership hours. I am currently working on my volunteer hours ( BTW how many should I have?), but I have no clue what to do for Leadership??? How important is it to a nursing application? Does anybody have any ideas of how to get some? I live in Kansas.

THANKS
