Ok, I've got my first assignment. In the area that I wanted. Pay seems ok considering the area. Took subsidy, I'll be fairly close to home. Now that I'm getting ready to take the plunge, I have read so many different posts that make me wonder if I have made the right decision. I need to make a decent income for my family. I get really discouraged when I read that the income just isn't there. I worked agency in CO and while the pay was ok I did get cancelled all the time. Agency here in KY in the area I live, is just not there (unless you want to work for HCA). OK, I need to hear so feedback, the good, the bad and the ugly. My assignment is ER, no low census there like on the floors. Nighshift, not my favorite but I can deal. Went with RNNetwork, research showed it to be more positive than negative. Have contact with more than one agency an case the bottom falls out. What haven't I done or what should I do next. HELP!!!
