Knee replacement recall/ need help MIL's came unglued!!

I just found out that my MIL's knee replacement came unglued. Medicare threw her out of the hospital and refuses to pay for rehab on a shoulder injury. The specialist said the knee components have come unglued and she will need a new knee. She is 74 and has CHF and is obese. Any advice or info on recalls would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

Wow! I work on an Orthopedic floor & haven't heard of any recalls. When I get to work tonight, I'll ask around and see if anybody's heard of any. As I'm sure you already know, losing weight would help.

Don't mean to laugh, but the way you worded it, I visualized Medicare coming in and PHYSICALLY throwing her out of the hospital, hurting her shoulder. What did happen to her shoulder?
