hi everyone!
i am currently a pre-nursing student who dreams of one day working in the or.
i have had knee problems pretty much all my life and have had 4 knee surgeries to date. hopefully, i will have no more. i was recently told that i have chondromalacia patellae and had surgery in march to remove the frayed cartilage from the back of my kneecap. this was supposed to bring me a lot of relief. it did for the first 5 weeks or so but it has been getting worse again..
so... my question... is it realistic for me to continue to persue my goal of nursing? anyone have any tips that can help me get through this? my doctor does not seem to be of much help and only tells me that i should avoid using my kneecap.
thanks!
