To start off, this is my first post so I am sorry if it is in the wrong spot!
Anyways, I am a Senior Male in high school and want to become a nurse. I live in Iowa and plan on going to Kirkwood Community College to get my AAS in Nursing. I then plan to work at a hospital and hope they help me with a RN-BSN Branch program or something like it. I was reading on here about Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids and there are quite some bad reviews about it. Does anyone know if the college is still like that? I am already accepted and plan on going but I just want to know what I can expect once I get there...
Any response is appreciated! Would love to talk to someone who currently goes there or went there in the past!
Thanks!
EDIT: Also does this sound like a good plan? I can't really afford to go to any 4 year Universities. I really wanted to go to University of Iowa but I can't afford it PLUS people who have graduated before me got rejected into the nursing program and they had way better grades and test scores.
