FYI I just found out that Lonestar is not offering Quest this year (and possibly never). If you check the website, the application dates are no longer listed. I emailed Kingwood and they confirmed.
I found out on Monday when I went in to ask a question. I've prob never been more angry in my life- it still says that the app dates are Dec- Jan online where the program info is. It's way too late to apply for the spring.. I'm going to apply to UTHSC for next fall I guess
I know. Me too. I find it very unprofessional that they did not email or contact me directly as soon as the program was canceled, as I had a lengthy sit down meeting with one of the Kingwood advisors earlier this year specifically about the Quest program. During that meeting, I made it very clear that I was quitting my job to take prerequisites, etc. to prepare for the Quest program. It is going to have major financial consequences for my family - our first baby is due in early January. Not only will my nursing degree be delayed, but now we will require additional daycare, etc. I had an 11.9 score so felt good about getting into Quest, but due to prerequisites (and my grades in them) I do not think I will qualify for UTHSC or the various other second degree BSNs for quite some time. Tomorrow is another day.

Hey everyone,
It's almost time to start turning in applications for QUEST 2015 at Lonestar Kingwood ? I thought I would start a thread for the 2015?applicants since I haven't seen one yet. Anybody re-taking their HESI? I can't decide if I should or not- I have no idea how competitive the application scores are this year!
A bit about me: I have a BA from UofH (double major Psychology & German Language, Magna Cum Laude) and I just had my first child on 10/27. I like that QUEST is flexible as far as learning at home goes, but I look forward to the labs and clinicals too (if I get in!) good luck to everyone ?
