Hi Everyone!!
Just trying to reach out and start a thread for the students applying to Kennesaw's Fall 2022 start date.
I have seen in previous KSU threads comparing their stats and competitive scores, is this something admissions considers? As well, by "top 5/7," does this mean only calculate your highest 5 grades out of the math and science section of prerequisites? Also - if you retake a course for a higher grade, do you average the two before including in your highest 5 grades (ie. originally receiving a C, but retaking and then receiving an A, do you average as a B or take the highest of the two)?
This is what I have seen for the competitive scoring criteria:
Total GPA- 20 points (multiply your GPA by 20 then divide by 4)
Top 5/7 - 30 points (math and science GPA only, multiplied by 30 then divide by 4)
Top 7/12-20 points (multiply your GPA by 20 then divide by 4)
TEAS 20 points - multiply by 20 then divide by 100
As well - I am looking to apply to both accelerated and traditional programs as I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology from KSU, but does anyone know how that works? If they choose which you will be in or if they give you a choice?
I wish you all the best of luck in getting accepted!
I just found this Thread that was posted back in December 2021 if you would like to follow the link there so it can all be cumulated on one thread!
